Story Book Dolls:
Baloo is the fictional sleepy old grey bear featured in the Rudyard Kipling books The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book. The name Baloo is derived from the Hindi word for bear. Baloo teaches the cubs of the Seeonee wolf pack the Law of the Jungle. Baloo is thought to be a Sloth Bear, since it is the only bear species found in the tropical forests of Central India.

Mowgli and Baloo appeared in the Disney production of The Jungle Book. They soon become friends and Baloo tries to take him as his own cub.
